My name is Miranda Mitchell and I am a Reading Interventionist.  I live in Garner with my husband, Kyle, and my 3 sons, Jayden, Joel and Jayce. I received my degree in Elementary education with a concentration in Special Education from East Stroudsburg  University in Pennsylvania. This is my 18th year teaching in Harnett County. I spent my first 9 years teaching 1st grade, 8 years teaching Reading Recovery and this is my 1st year as a Reading Interventionist. When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my family, beach trips and spending time outdoors. I love watching my students learn and grow in both reading and writing!
