My name is Nick Weeks, and I am proud to serve as the Principal at Coats-Erwin Middle School.  I have served multiple Middle Schools in Harnett County during my career.  I’ve taught 8th Grade Science at Coats-Erwin Middle School for seven years, served four years as the Assistant Principal at Overhills Middle School, and one year as the Principal at Western Harnett Middle School.  

I am excited to serve the Coats and Erwin communities and work alongside the staff and families as a team committed to the growth and success of all students.  My goal is to provide a safe environment with a high-quality staff where students can grow and develop a passion for learning.

I am so excited and genuinely honored to join the Falcons' family!  This is my 33rd year in education and my educational background includes grades K - 12 Special Education, grades 9 - 12 English, grades 6 - 8 English Language Arts, grades 6  - 8 Instructional Coach, and grades K - 5 and 6 - 8 Assistant Principal.

I am committed to ensuring our students receive the most effective instruction and providing a safe environment for them to learn and grow.  My belief is that communication and teamwork are necessary in order for students to meet their goals and experience success.
