Mrs. Kjersti Harcum

Hello! My name is Kjersti (pronounced "Chair-stee") Harcum and I have been teaching 7th Grade Social Studies (now called "Global Studies II") at Western Harnett Middle School since 2010. 

While I originally taught in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Western Harnett Middle School has become my home away from home since 2010. 

I am passionate about teaching history and I work hard to bring that passion into the classroom!

Our Google Classroom for Social Studies

All students have access to our Social Studies Google Classroom for the 2024-25 school year.

Our students will use their Harnettstudents.org Google accounts to complete assignments, access educational resources and work on extension activities related to what we are learning in class. Using the Internet, students have access anytime and anywhere to posted assignments, due dates, as well as supporting curriculum resources.
