Our very own Ethan Dunlap is among 245 spellers taking the stage this week at National Harbor, Maryland near Washington D.C.
Ethan, 12, is an eighth grader at Overhills Elementary School. His principal, Dr. Benika Thompson describes him as determined, tenacious, and self-disciplined. “He has persevered despite many personal challenges. He continues to overcome and win”.
We are very proud and excited to have Ethan represent Harnett County Schools at the Scripps National Spelling Bee, and wish him the best of luck!
