Overhills Middle School

Our first featured OMS Panther for Student Appreciation Week 2024 is Maria Sanders. Maria is an 8th-grade artist. One of her specialties includes drawing portraits. Maria shared that her artwork is an expressive outlet that allows her creative space. She started creating art when she was five years old and going through a difficult time. She finds art to be a way to relax and calm herself. She enjoys drawing people because it makes them smile and making people smile makes her happy. Sanders draws each day. She has over ten drawing notebooks and she continues to perfect her craft. Please enjoy a view of pieces from her collection.
